Threading is the ancient Indian art of hair removal using cotton thread. It removes hair from the root and is a very precise method of removal for facial areas, particularly for eyebrows. Unlike plucking, threading can remove an entire row of hairs in one go, resulting in a straighter line to create a very defined brow.

Sugaring dates back to Egyptian times using a paste made from sugar, lemon juice and water. The ingredients haven't changed much (a tweak here and there!!) but the technique has had a Hollywood make over! Sugaring is different to waxing; it removes hair in the natural direction of hair growth and involves a 'flicking action' using a gently warm product that removes hair from the follicle and not snap it causing damaged hair.
